The Dog Geezer

The Dog Geezer is a local dog walking and practical dog training business based in Heywood,
welcoming enquiries from dog owners in Rochdale, Middleton and Bury. Run by James, owner of
Hareshill Boarding Kennels, the service brings everyday experience with different breeds, personalities
and routines to the help you and your dog need.
Dog walking focuses on fresh air, exercise, calm handling and a reliable routine. Training support
covers everyday challenges such as lead manners, recall, confidence, calmer habits and problem
behaviours at home. The approach is practical and straightforward, with clear communication and
support built around your dog.
Walking starts from £12 and training support from £35. These are guide prices: the final cost depends
on your location, dog, frequency and the support needed. The first chat is free. James is fully insured
and DBS-checked.
Walking and training enquiries currently go onto waiting lists. James will discuss suitability and
availability before agreeing a booking. Dog adventure days are planned to start in February 2027,
offering countryside outings for suitable active dogs. Adventure-day enquiries also join a waiting list.
To get started, contact James with your postcode, a little about your dog and the help you are looking
for. Good dogs. Proper care. Your local geezer.
